With a 10 year history of playing together, our Jazz Trio create new levels of enthusiasm and creativity that exceeds audience expectations. We are so proud to present you Colour and Sound Trio, Three of the most experienced and diverse improvising musicians in Chicago, combine their love of standards by such greats as Cole Porter, Gershwin, Jerome Kern and Duke Ellington, with their passion for bebop and beyond, the fire of Charlie Parker, and the freedom of Charles Mingus.

This Classic American Piano Trio creates a unique "Chamber Jazz" style, from Tin Pan Alley to modern originals. The three combine their love of the jazz tradition and hard swinging with a freedom of interaction which is both creative and liberating.

"It was simply cool jazz - intimate music in an intimate space . It really connected with the audience. And when you leave a performance with a new sense of what the instruments can do you know you've been privileged to hear the finest musicians..." John Erband, Chicago
