I can't say enough about Innocenti Strings. I booked them from their website, and Ben was extremely helpful through e-mail. I submitted all my requests for music through their user-friendly website. The week of the wedding, the head musician contacted me and we were able to chat about any last minute things. She confirmed all of my music choices. The music was BEAUTIFUL! I was very happy. It sounded so lovely. We moved the ceremony outside at the last minute, and they just went with it, no complaints. I thought the price was well worth it. Book them with confidence!
I had a small religious ceremony, but it was not in a church. Having the four piece quartet at my wedding made everything so beautiful and original. The musicans were talented and very professional. It gave the feeling of a grand ceremony, in a small and cozy setting. Ben Kulp was awesome. I wanted to do something different for my wedding and he recommended the most beautiful pieces, that were original and reflected my taste. Having the quartet play during cocktail hour was so elegant. Having a quartet not only enriched my ceremony, but lended a traditional feel to my not-so-traditional wedding. My wedding music and ceremony were sooo important to me, I was really happy with the job Innocenti Strings did!
We spent a great number of hours coordinating with other string vendors. the price was well worth it. The musicians were dressed professionally and blended into the vineyard setting with the perfect compliment of music. Although, I did not spend much time socializing with the duo, the wedding guests praised their talents and commented on their professionalism. We would definitely consider them again for any event requiring strings and highly recommend them to other event planners.

Ellen O'Hayer: -Cellist Ellen O'Hayer received her Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance from the DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. She is a member of the Topeka Symphony Orchestra, and has held section positions with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Quad City Symphony, as well as a principal position with the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra. Ellen is an active performer and teacher in the Kansas City/Lawrence area.
Kelly Bohling: Kelly Bohling holds a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from KU. Her performance highlights include the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Helianthus Contemporary Ensemble, and KU’s Collegium Musicum. She has also appeared as soloist with the Hot Springs Festival Orchestra. When Kelly is not performing, she is busy teaching, with a full violin studio in Lawrence and Kansas City.

Ben was amazing!!! The process of payment and selecting the music was so simple. Having the string duo was what I dreamed of at my wedding, the music was so beautiful. Jill Woodhouse: Violinist Jill Woodhouse earned a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Missouri State University in 2006, and was awarded a Graduate Assistantship to continue her studies. She began playing violin at the age of five, and studied with Juilliard graduate Ann Hirschl and David Hays, concertmaster of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. Jill served as concertmaster of the Missouri State Symphony and Chamber Orchestra for five years, and is in her eighth season as a member of the first violin section in the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. She has performed with many groups such as the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of the Ozarks, the Fort Smith Symphony, the Camelo String Quartet, and for several productions with the Springfield Regional Opera and Springfield Little Theatre. In the summer of 2005, Jill had the privilege of attending the Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies at the Juilliard School in New York City. In May 2008, Jill received her Master of Music degree in violin performance from Missouri State University. Following graduation, Jill was hired as the professor of strings at the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri. In March 2009 she conducted the Association of Christian Schools International Honors Orchestra at the Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. Jill is currently a member of the first violin section in the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and teaches violin privately from her home and Beautiful Music Violin Shop.
